Step into Dance on Tour
We are offering a new and dynamic series of one-off workshop options. Our Step Dance artists will come into your school to deliver the projects, which will include workshops and performance. The themes and content of the workshops have been developed with the secondary school curriculum in mind, and aim to provide a rich and exciting dance experience.
These workshop packages are available to secondary schools within the London and Essex region.
A Perfect World in Black and White
A Perfect World in Black and White is a 15 minute physical theatre piece that explores the idea of respect; the mutual respect students and teachers have for each other, their work and the school code of conduct.
I Like It When You're Quiet
One solo, one poem, one piece of music with two unique interpretations. The solo I Like It When You're Quiet explores the relationship between dance, music and the spoken word.
The Dream
The Dream is an exploration of the use of Breakdance vocabulary in a piece of choreography that has a narrative story line. The focus is not on tricks, but on the content and communication between the two characters.
Dancing Together
Dancing Together is a fun workshop focusing on social dance. Taught by experienced dance artists, the workshop is a wonderful opportunity to explore a new style for the dance floor!
