Step into Dance

Step into Dance is open to State schools in London and Essex. The programme currently runs in 180 schools in the 32 London Boroughs and is the largest inclusive and ongoing community dance programme in London.

Schools on the programme are entitled to up to 2 hours a week of classes, these classes generally take place after school time, however under certain circumstances classes can take place within curriculum time. There is a wide range of dance on offer including, contemporary, Bollywood, African Dance, ballet, Hip Hop styles: breaking, street,popping, salsa, samba, ballroom and more. We are expanding into new boroughs in the year 2011/12 so do get in touch if you are interested in joining the programme. We can arrange a free taster class in your school. Please find details of the yearly fees for 2011/12 below:

• 1 hour a week of classes: £325
• 1.5 hours a week of classes: £350
• 2 hours a week of classes: £400
